Aluminium Road Sign Turned Machine

This is a project I did for ENG 1000 in semester 1 of 2011. It is not creative in the conventional sense, it's not overly artistic or unique in design. The creativeness of this machine is in the months of design work and planning that it took to construct this cheaply out of readily available material which was recycled. This machine was constructed out of a discarded aluminum sign sitting on the side of the road and is designed to sort colored balls onto a shelf. The project was designed to be a simulation of a machine which could transport and deposit highly volatile minerals without human contact.

Antique Shot Glass

This photograph is taken by me on the 21/11/2011. It is a photograph of a shot glass from the early 1900's that belongs to my father.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

This is the Walt Disney Concert hall located in downtown LA and is designed as a tribute to Walt Disney's avant-garde contribution to the arts. Upon initial construction of the concert hall, multiple complaints were received by surrounding residents whose apartment buildings became unbearably warm due to the large reflective concave panels which focused the reflected sunlight. This issue was rectified in 2005.
